Once we get a total for the donations to be made to various Hermann area charities, we will publish them here and on our Facebook page.
The Midwest Blue Oval Club held its annual 2025 Blue Oval Rally in Hermann MO on August 22-23. The weather cooperated throughout the whole event. We started everything off with the Road Rally on Friday morning. There were about 17 cars who participated driving around on a 46 mile adventure that took them on pre-planned course through Gasconade and Franklin counties. Everyone was judged on time, mileage and answers to specific questions along the route. The awards were awarded at the Hermann Wurst Haus.
We need to thank all of our sponsors for this year. They have been great to work with and have really stepped up with their donations and support.
Here are a few pictures of the Road Rally.
The winners of the Road Rally were as follows:
1st Place Al Rutherford driver Derrick Bilzing navigator
2nd Place Tom Winters driver Karen Winters navigator
Where Am I Steven Miller driver and navigator
Later in the afternoon, there was a tour of the Auto World Museum in Fulton MO. If you have never been to this museum, you need to make a stop. The owner of the museum was featured on American Pickers where they bought a couple of cars. The cars were stored on the second floor of an old dealership and they had to use an old antiquated elevator to bring them to the street level. That building is still standing.
On Saturday, the car show kicked off. By the end of the day, there were close to 180 cars that packed the streets of Hermann MO. The weather was great and the attendance was great for the participant as well as the spectators.
The links below will take you to the parts of the show. There are also links at the bottom of each page to continue to the next part.
